You can set it up with out registering the CBR with NG.
However you'll need your ISP to register the MAC address of the CBR so it connects to the ISP services correctly.

What FW is loaded on the CBR. You can log into the CBRs web page at 192.168.1.1 if you press the reset button for 15 seconds then release.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
to login to cbr website do I?
Just put 192.168.1.1 in the search or web address bar? and hit enter?
