All of the usual "reset, wait and reconnect" does not fix anything

All of the usual "reset, wait and reconnect" does not fix anything.  I'm having the same issue on my RBR850 running 4.6.9.11 firmware.  Reboot and the wired connections and guest wifi work, but the main wifi never connects.  I have to login to the router on a wired pc, go to internet, and run a test at the top of the screen.  As soon as the test is done all devices connect on the regular wifi side.

  • What Firmware version is currently loaded?

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.

How was the system updated? Orbi app or RBS and RBS web page manually using a web browser?

Did you make sure any RBS deployed was updated first then the RBR lastly?

How many RBS do you have deployed?

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?

What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
