Anyone has difficulties connecting their shelly relay to Orbi RBK852 wifi network?
I recently got my hands on Shelly 2.5 relay, and it just won't connect to my Orbi RBK852 router. Have tried disabling AX, enabling guess wifi, lowering 5ghz channel to 25%, setting static IP for the ...

Well obviously it is an unorthodox trick solution as a last resort. I used my old router as a control test and the device could indeed connect to it as long as I use the same ssid, whereas it still doesn't work for orbi.
The reason I said it does not matter whether my phone is connected to 2.4ghz is because my phone is not connected to wifi network at all when I setup the device. The shelly device can operate as an access point where I can connect directly to it via bluetooth/wifi using laptop/phone. After that I can set up the wifi connection (providing ssid/pw/static ip etc) for the device without my phone being connected to the wifi network all together.
That said, Orbi RBK852 does not seem to have the option to turn off 5ghz channel, and I already tried to lower the power of 5ghz channel to 25%. Given that I still could not connect my phone to 2.4ghz channel. And I doubt that matters as my phone needs not connect to the wifi network at all in the setup.
I am more inclined to believe that the solution, if any, has something to do with the wifi setting instead. Whether I should enable AX, WMM, etc. Any thought in this regard?

Did you turn OFF any RBS while working with the RBR at 25%? If you left the RBS on then there may have been chance that the phone connected still at 5Ghz.
Did you try setting up the 2.4Ghz router with same SSID name and PW long enough to get the device fully connected, then turn OFF this 2nd router? It should have auto connected to the Orbi AX signal.
Try disabling AX mode on 2.4Ghz.
Set CTS value to 2347?
