When I enable and disable AX on the Advanced Wireless Setup page, and click Apply, the first thing that happens is the screen clears and a progress box appears with the label Updating Settings, which takes between 1-2 minutes.  Then the Wireless Setup page appears again with the check mark either enabled or disabled depending on which action that was taken.

Does your web page clear and show the Updating Settings progress box?

Yes, the AX 750 product definitely supports 802.11ax.

One way to determine if the ax feature is enabled is to use a WiFi Analyzer app.  I like WiFi Info View (free for Windows from Nirsoft at https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/wifi_information_view.html ).  For Android, WiFi Connection Manager by roamingsoft shows when AX is present.

It might be a good idea to power the router off and then back on.  If you have not done much configuration on the router, performing a Factory Reset is often a good step.  (In my case, a complete Factory Reset and reconfiguration involves over two hours of tedious keyboard entry and countless typos, making it definitely a Last Resort.)
