AX1800 in AP Mode, lose power won't detect the internet
Hi community, I have updated the router to the latest firmware. Whenever I lose power to my home. After the power comes back on the Orbi won't detect my internet for the WiFi devices. To get it ...

I have the Orbi's in AP mode (access point mode). This means all the routing is done by pfsense.Are you saying the front LED is magenta (for no internet available) or it is off for normal operation with internet available?
For some configurations with devices in AP mode, it is helpful to configure the router so the AP device has a fixed IP address.
In my opinion, your Orbi main unit would stand a better chance of working normally if it is connected upstream of your TP-Link switch and the switch connected to one of the Orbi Ethernet output ports.

I change the Orbi to router mode.
Change it back to AP mode then it works.
There must be something wrong here?

Purchased brand new just over 3 months ago so no more support from netgear.
What is the full model number of your router? Look at the label on the device. The AX1800 is a marketing term.
What firmware version number is on your router? Look on the graphical user interface. "The Latest" is not an answer as it does not provide sufficient information to verify.
What is the manufacturer and model number of the modem/gateway/ONT that is connected upstream of your router? Look at the label on the device.

My phone connection goes to a router that is in bridge mode.
I am running pfsense on a:
Protectli Vault 4 Port, Firewall Micro Appliance/Mini PC - Intel Quad Core, AES-NI, 8GB RAM, 120GB mSATA SS.
The pfsense hardware handles the DHCP and login information for the internet. I have disabled DCHP from the switch shown below.
The pfsense is feeding a 1gb switch TL-SG108E (which I have just updated to the latest firmware TL-SG108E(UN)_V6_1.0.0 Build 20220930
I have the main Orbi connected to the switch using the Orbi's internet port.

I have attached a sketch to show the setup.
When I lose power, after it comes back on, my pc has internet. But my WiFi devices don't.
The model of my router is RBR350, the 2 satellites are RBS350. It came in a package of 3.
My router has been setup in bridge mode. It's an Archer VR1600v Ver 2.0
My phone line is connected to the router with an RJ-11
The Router connects to a Firewall that has an operating system called pfsense.

The sketch was very helpful. I am not familiar with the Protectli device. It appears to provide some form of routing function. If you have problems with it after a power outage you will have to seek their support. In particular where it needs to be connected in your network data path.
Cascading two devices that perform routing functions (assignment of IP addresses among others) on the same network is problematic.
As a minimum, you need to connect your TP-Link switch downstream of your router, not upstream. This allows your RBR350 to perform routing functions for your network devices like your PC and TV and other devices connected via Wi-Fi.
If your PC and TV work fine, that is a confirmation the Protectli device is performing routing functions on your network. Otherwise they would not receive an IP address.
