For some configurations with devices in AP mode, it is helpful to configure the router so the AP device has a fixed IP address.
In my opinion, your Orbi main unit would stand a better chance of working normally if it is connected upstream of your TP-Link switch and the switch connected to one of the Orbi Ethernet output ports.

The issue I have is my pc works fine.
So pfsense is handing out ip's.

Hi,
I have changed the IP range that my DHCP will assign and statically set my IP of the Orbi. Amazingly this has fixed the issue.
Thanks for your time and effort. I am not sure why my pfsense is not allocating the IP, but that seems to be the issue.
