I have a consistent problem where wifi devices lose their wifi connection to my Orbi system multiple times per hour for 1-2 minutes at a time.  This affects all kinds of devices (phones, laptops, Oculus, TVs), and it happens even if I'm sitting within 5 feet of a satellite with nothing in between.  It's only a wifi problem.  When I use a hardwired connection into any satellite, it's 100% reliable without any issues.

I've read that having the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands on the same SSID can cause this.  <Where did you get your information from? This wouldnt' be a cause. On at least a few occasions where I've run into this issue, I've noticed that my device was switching between the bands.  Is there a way to separate the SSIDs per frequency band?  I couldn't find an option to do so. <Not supported on Orbi Systems.

My setup consists of a router plus 6 satellites (3 of which are hardwired) in a 9,500 sq ft home.  How are the RBS ethernet connected to the RBR? Directly or is there a patch panel or LAN switch in between? The issue also happened when I only had four satallites (I added more thinking it would help).  I'm running firmware version V4.6.7.13_2.1.9.  The same issues happened on previous firmware versions as well.  You maybe over saturating your home with having too many RBS online as well. One RBR and I believe 3-4 RBS will cover a 10k sq ft home. I have about 25 devices connected.

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?
