AXE11000 WiFi Mesh System (RBKE963B) Orbi 960
My current router is a NetGear R8500, and while Smart Connect allows me to use the same SSID for both 5G bands, I cannot use the same SSID for the 2.4G and 5G bands, so my guest network names are Gue...

No.
The main wifi SSID broadcast is a single SSID name for 2.4, 5 and 6Ghz radios.
There is a Guest Network as normal, however there is a separate IoT and 6Ghz SSID that can be enabled, however again those will be separate SSID names as well.

Just so I'm clear, if I set up a main (or home) network for me and all my devices, I only need a single SSID for all 3 radios. And if I set up a guest network, I need another single SSID (different from the main SSID) that works for all 3 radios. So the guest network only has 1 SSID for all 3 radios, and if a user is logged into the guest network the device will automatically select the best available radio, either 2.4, 5 or 6G, and seamlessly switch between the radios as necessary.
