best cable modem to use with the new orbi axe11000 mesh system
Before I purchase a $1500-$2000 mesh network. I can't find any articles on the best Modem to connect with.
Using Infinity 1gig service.
My provider suggest Net gear CM2000 I have a Arrris G36 with WiFi.
I can also use the Motorolla mb8611
Any newer netgear modems coming out?
My thinking is best to get a dedicated cable modem and then connect to the mesh router. To avoid router/router conflicts.

Yes, the Netgear CM2000 is compatible with Xfinity (Comcast) and rated for the highest speeds they offer:

So far, the CM2050V has been working great with the RBE963 for me.
The arris G36 is going to be comparable in terms of modem performance as the CM2000. So if you already have it, just put it in modem only mode and use it as a modem. Its a pretty solid modem.
Save the money for docsis 4.0 versus "upgrading" to a modem with similar performance.
