Best settings for HomeKit?

Hi!

I've got some problems with HomeKit devices dropping connection with my RBK850 system.

I've tried to follow these tips:

Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.

Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Circle, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).

I could set the channel to 11, enable WMM and disable coexistence, but all the other settings are just not visible anywhere. Situation has improved, but I'm still having some problems with devices being randomly disconnected.

Using version V4.6.8.5_2.1.9

  • What "HomeKit devices" do you have problem with?

Most existing HomeKit devices are connected with either Thread or Bluetooth not wifi, so the Orbi radio has not much to do with those devices!

I have many such devices in my home (example, Eve Aqua, Eve door/window sensors, Danalock, ...) and those are very stable.
