Can’t connect locally to Orbi RBR750
Hello, I’m at my wits end and hoping someone can help. I have centurylink fiber internet, and I’m unable to use my Orbi RBR750 until I plug in centurylink credentials on my Orbi via Orbilogin.co...
- May 23, 2022I was able to fix now that I could access the GUI via the following steps I found on another thread. Please note, it wouldn’t connect until the vlan was set.
I still have one outstanding question. Should I set my PPoE credentials to be “always on”?
STEPS TO FIX
Call Centurylink for your pppoe username and password and vlan number which is (201)
Have laptop and ethernet wire (I did mine via phone)
Log on to orbilogin.net (I did mine via 192.168.1.1)
On Basic tab
Make sure you have to the most updated firmware on your router and satellite
Once you determine your software is up to date
Enter your internet service provider pppoe and password
Go into your Advanced tab
Advance setting change to vlan to 201
Follow orbi instruction on set up
Your internet should connect

Thank you both for the support. Apologies for not answering sooner.
I can confirm the address is 192.168.1.1
Looks like the issue is currently on NGs end which is unfortunate. Even after trying their workarounds I’m still unable to access. I’ll see if the bug gets fixed sooner rather than later

Did you factory reset the RBR and setup from scratch using a wired PC and web browser at HTTP and 192.168.1.1? Press the RBRs reset button for 15-20 seconds then release. Try this with the RBR disconnected from the ISP modem/ONT first.
