Can An AX4200 Router (with one Satellite) be mixed with one Orbi AC2200 Satellite?
I have the Orbi AC2200 (RBR43) mesh router with two satellites. One of the satellites needs to be hardwired to a television. I am planning to upgrade to the newer AX4200 with only one satellite. My question is, can I mix satellites with the new AX4200? Can I continue to use the older AC2200 satellite that is hardwired to the television along with the new AX4200 and satellite? I don't want to hardwire the tv to the new AX4200 satellite if I don't have to because of its location. Thanks.

Alas, the original Orbi satellites cannot sync with the AX routers because they use different hardware chips and encoding methods.
Bummer.
There appear to be several options:
- Rather than the RBK752 (one satellite), purchase the RBK753 (two satellites)
Amazon has 'renewed' models that are attractively priced compared to 'new'.
That replaces three Orbi units with three Orbi units.
TV can be connected directly with ethernet as it is now. - Investigate an 'ethernet to WiFi adapter', such as
https://www.amazon.com/IOGEAR-Ethernet-2-WiFi-Universal-Wireless-GWU637/dp/B018YPWORE/ref=sr_1_3?crid=349JAGIVO37DU&keywords=ethernet+wifi+adapter&qid=1643608018&sprefix=ethernet+wifi+adapter%2Caps%2C150&sr=8-3
The TV will believe it is connected to ethernet, when it is actually connecting to WiFi. - Look at PowerLine as a substitute for a physical ethernet cable. For example:
