Does RBK862SB allow me to manually change the wifi channels, especially for the 2.4ghz band?
Yes, you can set up fixed channels for both the 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz client radios. There is a control to enable (or disable) 20/40 Mhz coexistence, but you cannot set up the channel to only use 20 Mhz. (The control either enables 40 Mhz or both 20/40).
You won't have control over the radio used by the mesh backhaul (used to connect the satellites to the router).
