Can I connect an ORBI 960 mesh system to my existing Nighthawk CAX80 modem router?
I currently use a CAX80 wifi modem router but my existing extender sucks and I lose signal strength in my house, because my router is in the back room in my basement, so poor LOS. I know the ORBI me...
the CAX80 is a pretty solid modem/router.
What extender do you have?
What size is your home?
What are the internal walls of your home made from?
Is there any way to move the CAX out of the basement backroom? Sounds like its probably in a utility room? If so, those tend to have a bunch of HVAC and HVAC does a great job of blocking wifi
