Can I use Orbi rbr350 and wax214(AP) router together?
Hello.
I'm going to install Orbi Router and wax214(AP) in my house by wire.
Is there any compatibility problem?
Trying to wire the AP through a PoE switch under the Orbi router.
Wireless settings are the same (SSID, PW, WPA2/3)
I need help.. Thank you.

Other than these being two entirely different product families with (literally) nothing in common?
Orbi RBR350 is a lower cost version of the 802.11ax residential product line, with only one 5G WiFi radio which serves both user devices and router to satellite backhaul.
WAX214AP is a product intended for commercial deployment, managed by Insight (which knows nothing about the Orbi).
Even if the two have identical WiFi SSID/password setups, they will be entirely separate WiFi networks. Devices will not roam seamlessly from one to the other (or back). The Orbi will know nothing about the WAX214 except that it appears there a a bunch of 'wired' devices coming in one specific Ethernet port. (Maybe there's a switch out there? Who knows?)
Will it work? For sure. Will it produce what you hope for? Not sure. (But then, so would an Access Point from any other vendor.)
