Can the RBK852 use its 2.5Gbps port in AP mode?

I am interested in knowing this too.

 

If not, would be rather stupid.... but there are many stupid things going on....

 

Anyone have any knowledge?

    I preusme the 1 WAN port on the RBR will connect at 2.5Gb to another 2.5Gb port. The other LAN ports on the back of the RBR are only rated at 1Gbs.

    The answer for now is that, yes, this appears to work. When connected to my Netgear MS510TX it negotiates a 2.5 gbps connection. I haven’t benchmarked the throughput yet however.

      Good to hear. I presumed it would. I know i see the higher connection rate between my RBR and CAX80 which supports 2.5Gb on 1 port. 

      I wish the LAN ports supported 2.5Gb. :smileywink:
