Cant connect to internet
I moved my RBR850 and computer to another room in the house and when I reconnected I could not get the internet to connect to the router. I have an XFINITY wifi modem that is hard wired connected to it but it keeps showing as unsync'd. I tried powering down a few times but still nothing.
Any idea?

The most obvious place to look is the cable connecting the Xfinity device to the Orbi router.
If
- The router works when connected directly to the Xfinity (in the same room with a short Ethernet cable), but
- The router does not work when the cable pathway includes in-wall wiring, then
There might be an issue with the in-wall wiring.
I purchased a 100ft. Ethernet cable (about $20 on Amazon) to use when troubleshooting issues such as this. If the router works in the new location when connected back to the Xfinity with a single Ethernet cable, that is an indication that the in-wall wiring might be the issue.
