Can't Login with Admin Credentials
Can somebody please help me? I'm trying to set up my Orbi RBR350 and I've followed all the prompts in the app until I've arrived at the screen asking me to Login with my admin credentials. It asks me to input a password and has the message "Default is password" so I enter "password" into the section but it says its incorrect.
When I try to reset my password, according to the instructions, it leads me to a help page which then sends me to a bunch of links that do not assist me in resetting my password. It says to access either www.orbilogin.com or http://www.orbilogin.net but both of these links just send me to pages prompting me to download the app, pointless for this situation.
I feel like I'm going round and round in circles. Of course netgear can't help me so I'm left to post a message on this community. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I have tried enterring my Network password, and my Netgear Account password but neither worked.
Thanks - I had factory reset it in the past and the issue existed, this time after a factory reset it prompted me to enter my own custom password which I did and setup has gone okay from here.

Can you post a screen capture of this page? I do not have a 350, but the other Orbi routers I have configured sort of bury the option to use a web connection to configure the router. (Tiny type, sort of fading into the background.)

Hi CrimpOn
Thanks for getting back to me. The Orbi is not new, purchased in 2023 so I have no support available other than this blog (which I find absolutely ridiculous).
I am still stuck at the third step, when clicking the orbilogin link, it provides me with two options:
- Download the app (there is no option for me to select no smartphone)
- Shop for wifi and mesh routers (not relevant)
Neither of these options give me any ability to login. I do get the ability to login via the app - however the default credentials do not work. I have tried to put 'password' in a million times and it just fails every time. Its as if I need to find a 'forgot my password' option so I can reset it, however this option is totally eluding me.
Following the additional instructions also do not lead me to where I need togo. This link http://192.168.1.1 asks me for login credentials which I donot have and this link http://10.0.0.1 does not connect.
Why do they make this so hard?

When a Factory Reset is performed, the login credentials are "admin" and "password". Guaranteed. Have done it many times.
If those credentials are not accepted, then the Factory Reset did not happen.

Netgear provides 90 days of 'complimentary support' with the purchase of Orbi systems. Is this 350 'new'?
Although Netgear promotes use of the Orbi 'app', many of us who participate on the Forum are more familiar with using the web interface to configure and administer Orbi systems. The steps would be:
- Do a Factory Reset on the router to ensure that it is ready to configure.
https://kb.netgear.com/31486/How-do-I-reset-my-Orbi-system-to-factory-default-settings - Connect a device with a reasonably large screen, such as a desktop computer, laptop, or tablet.
Using a device with an Ethernet adapter is really convenient, but connecting to the router WiFi network (printed on the product label) works. - Open a web browser and connect to http:orbilogin.net
- Follow the steps. When it tries to bully you into using the Orbi 'app', claim "I do not have a smartphone" (and mumble, "not that it's any business of Netgear's")
- The default admin credentials are indeed "admin" (which cannot be changed) and "password".
Can you give that a try?
