CBK40 with existing R7960P Nighthawk

I am now going to returen Orbi since I will nt get full ISP speed without going 3.1.

and buy a CM model modem to use with my R7960P router as a host router.

 

Now just one last decision on additional hardware,  now that I'll stick with the R7960P router, what other NG products would be the best choice and play nice with the R7960P giving max wifi performance and similar mesh type coverage for the rest of my house?

 

It would seem counter productive to bring in 1 gps service only to be limited by poor wifi performance to all other non-wired devices.

If you want to keep using the R7960Ps wifi, then install 1 EX7700 or EX8000 extender to help with wifi coverage of the home.

    I have now purchased a C7800 and will use with the existing R7960P and then install 1 EX7700 or EX8000.  This will give me ISP of 1gps

      I would configure the R7960P for AP mode then disable the wifi radios on the C series modem.
