changing 5Ghz channel Orbr RBR850
I'm a novice and i have the orbi rbr850 with a RBS50Y extender.
The extender recommends my 5GHz Channel be changed to something higher - between 100-165.
In settings, the Orbi's 5Ghz channel is preset. I cannot select anything above channel 48.
What am i doing wrong?

Nothing wrong. Just Orbi AX systems don't allow for user channel changes above 48. 36-48 is all. The higher channels are used by the wifi system backhaul and are not changeable.
The RBS50Y should connect if you have the Extender mode FW loaded on it.
You can ignore the channel recommendations from the RBS50Y.
