Connect landline to Orbi?
Hi there, I'm using my Orbi RBR350 as the router/modem connected straight to my NBN. Is there any way I can connect a landline to it as well? It doesn't appear to work connecting straight to ...
Orbi routers do not support telephone service. You have two options:
- Have NBN install a different unit that supports telephone service.
- Subscripe to a Voice over IP service and connect their unit to the Orbi network.

It would probably be most efficient to talk to NBN technical support about your options for telephone service.
Hi there,
The NBN have advised HFC is the only connection at my home, so the only option then is to get a modem/router with a phone line.
However, if the "landline" phone service is via VoIP, is there a compatible handset I could purchase that would be able to be connected to the Orbi via Ethernet?
