Connect ORBI RB753S to AT&T Wifi gateway

Can you connect it? Sure.
but you'll need (want? ) to fix the double nat it causes.
A double nat happens when you cascade more than 1 router.

Fixes? There’s 3 options but only use 1.
1. Put the modem/gateway in modem only/pass through mode. This disables its routing functions. ATT gateways haven't always worked that well in passthrough mode.
2. Leave the modem/gateway in router mode but put the Netgears IP address into its DMZ. This forwards the data to the netgear. You can either leave the modem/gateway’s wireless enabled or disabled. Just make sure its using a different wifi channel to prevent interference
3. Put the Netgear into access point mode. This disables its routing functions. Wifi/ethernet still works but it does disable some features.

Thanks. I still have the two orbi satellites I plan to use. Does that make any option better than the others? Is any option preferred from a performance standpoint or should they all work about the same (assuming the gateway works ok in passthrough mode)?
If everything works fine with the gateway in passthrough mode, that's what I'd use.
option 3 with the orbi in access point mode, disables some features.
So if you want those features, either use passthrough or dmz mode. Sadly how well those options work, is based on att's gateway.
