Connecting Orbi RBR750 to Xfinity XB8 to receive full 1.4gbps

Question

Does anyone know specifically how to connect an Xfinity XB8 to the Orbi RBR750 so it actually receives the full 1.4gbps from Xfinity? The internet port on the Orbi is only a 1gig port (seems silly being that it can handle much more than that).

I see folks recommending dual wan but I have been unsuccessful getting this to work.

(Xfinity XB8 is super slow using internal wifi, especially far from the gateway. The gen 2 pods are max 500mbps and you never get near this unless you are on top of them.)

The RBR750 has wan port aggregation so you can combine the wan port and lan port 1 for a 2gbps connection. But I'm not sure if the xb8 supports port aggregation. that'd be something to ask xfinity about.&nbsp;

Xfinity claims they do not support WAN aggregation.&nbsp;

Then you're limited to the 1gig connection link if they don't have port aggregation.&nbsp;
