Connection drops and issues
I have a Netgear Orbi rbr350 setup for my home use. I have it connected to through Sky broadband (UK), and as I also have Sky Q mini boxes so I can't use my sky router in a bridge mode as they don't w...

My RBR350 uses channels 3 and 108, 108 seemingly being the one I currently use for the satellite I am having issues with, and according to the orbi app's WiFi analytics there are no other signals it can find using the same channels, so it shouldn't be interference, and also I doubt it is Sky as the main Orbi router has 0 issues and has complete connectivity. We have moved the orbi router closer by a few metres although so far it has not fixed the issue. It doesn't seem like it's interference issues so I don't know what to rule it down to

How many RBS are deployed?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR📡 and RBS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
- J0T_120Oct 13, 2023AspirantI have 1 RBS setup with the RBR, the distance between them is over 30ft (probably closer to 60ft) using a wireless connection. My Orbi uses channels 3 and 108, I do not know how to manually change them as it doesn't list it in the app.
I have noticed that the satellite I am having issues with is consistently swapping between a 5GHz connection and a 2.4GHz connection. Could that be part of the issue?- FURRYe38Oct 13, 2023Guru - Experienced User
Might bring in the distance of the RBS. Try 40 feet?
Change channels on the RBR web page at 192.168.1.1.

I can't reduce the distance without having either the RBR or RBS outside, I don't think the distance is the issue as I have used this setup as it is for 5 months without issues before these issues started arriving.
I also can't login to change the channels as it asks me to login and I do not know which username and password it is asking for, as well as I do not remember setting up the security questions as I have answered what I would put for both and it says it is incorrect
