Constant small dropouts on brand new Orbi AX4200 Mesh Wifi 6 (2 satellites)
Hi everyone
I have recently purchased a new Orbi wifi 6 package with 2 satellites.
My primary purpose for this is to ghet my remote office working well in a new house. I replaced an older version of the Orbis that only had one satellite as it couldnt reach my office well enough
I am experiencing constant small drop outs (most between 5-10 seconds in duration with the occasional 20 second one).
I have a fast connection operating at a consistent 90-97% of plan speeds (NBN 75/20 connection)
My ISP has been tracing the connection for a few days. I have been doing the same thing. I am able to see dropouts all the time, my ISP is not. Response from my ISP:
"Our ping plotter shows no dropouts over the coarse of a 48 hour period. In this case I would suggest looking into the hardware a bit further, Try replacing ethernet cables were possible and look into resetting the Wi-Fi hardware, If you need a hand with this let us know!"
My view:

Above is pretty much constant... every 5-20 mins i get a drop out
I have tried to wire the remote PC (30metre cord through the house!) and it stops the drop outs which narrows this whole thing down to these orbi satellites.
I have tried to wire intro the nearest satellite and its the same issues, for obvious reasons.
I am looking at returning these and getting my money back but hoping someone here has a solution because I don't have any other ideas other than the 30 meter cord which my wife doesn't love!
Thanks in advance

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too? What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
https://kb.netgear.com/31029/Where-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite 📡What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?Is Armor or SPC enabled?
Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Set CTS to 2347. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s). Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
