Firmware Version v4.6.8.2_2.1.9
RBR750 Model
Almost all other setting are default beyond primary passwords.
Version Fios internet hard lined directly to the Orbi router. There is no other router or wireless signal device diverting the traffic before it his the Orbi Main router hub. Only device is a netgear mutli-port switch for cat hard line connectivity.
Don't have Auto channel as an option for 5Ghz, set to 48.. 2.5GH set to channel 1. Adjusted the output power to 50%.
No change in results though. All devices are still connecting primarily to the main router only.

What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)?
- Cholla07Jul 26, 2022Aspirant
less than 30 feet. All Satellite display full signal strength as well.

Maybe why.
30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

Seems like a pretty weak reason. Considering I have an Alexa sitting right next to the upstairs satellite which is probably cuspy at the 30ft. mark. And the Alexa connects to the router downstairs. Makes no sense.
Never had this much of an issue with Google Wife points which are in the exact same location. I switched to Orbi because it was supposed to be an upgrade. Seems like the out of the box functionality is pretty wonky.
