Did we ever get a solution to RBR750 not assigning IP addresses after reboot/ power cycling ?
This is an ongoing Orbi problem. I have even tried buying the Cable router /modem combo CBR750 and it does the same thing. The only solution I have found is to do a hard factoiry reset, ( paperclip)...

I would at least turn down the power to 50% though. Your probably over saturating your home with wifi signals.
Look for SIP ALG under Advanced Tab/Setup/WAN Setup I believe. Was mentioned a while ago that some users had better operation with this enabled. Was supposed to be for Voice communications.
To change the default IP Pool range, go in under Advanced Tab/Setup/LAN setup and you'll see .2 and .254 seen for the DHCP IP address range. Just change the 2 to a 100 and the 254 to a 200.
Do both of these at the same time and then apply and reboot the RBR.
I have not see this issue on any of my Orbi systems including my CBR750.

So as much as NG would like you to believe that one or 2 RBx's will cover up to 2500sq feet or whatever...they don't.
Without having one RBS per floor many of my smart devices will lose newtwork connetivity (smart plugs in particular as they are closer to the floor or behind a piece of furniture). Additionally having Directv, Fire TVs and of course laptops, tablets etc i have about 54 devices and I have good coverage now with excellent speeds.
I have done factory resets on all the units and I never use backup configs, cause they don't work half the time so its easier to do clean reboot and reconfig for the extra few minutes it takes.
I am at work right now, where do I find the ALG SIP setting on the web "app" ? and what does that actually do?
How do I change default address pool?
For the sake of analysis I will do one change first to see if that works, then the just the other, then both if no luck on either of the two individually

I will try it as soon as I have the time ( and cooperation of the family) to screw with the network...lol. It has to be something stupid because it has happened on 2 different RBR750's ( I was told by NG to return my first set and get a replacement) same issue on the new one, and the CBR750 also does it so it has to be some miscommunication between xfinity internet signal and Orbi.
I do thank you for you time as this is a real PITA and I have the work around; but I shouldn't have to do a hard reset if my power dips for 10 seconds... I am actually considering an APC battery back up to at least get me through any AC hiccups without any interaction. I figure it can't hurt even if we do get it figured out.

Ok. Understand about the family and frustrations. Orbi hasn't been easy. Hoping some help and suggestion, we can figure this out.
Have a good gobble gobble day. đ- Cinemagic310Nov 22, 2022Guide
I am curious tho as I see many articles /video that say to DISABLE ALG SIP.
BTW (I have internet only from xfinity- no Voice-no TV services)
Are there any other settings I should be checking on??? UpnP NAT etc? I noticed that tthe IPV6 option is off by default and it seems to work fine with that setting
Im going to try it tonight AFTER I go get my APC, if I am going to go through the process I want to at least get that in the circuit.
