Disappoint - devices not connecting to satellite
Hi,
I am really disappointed with Orbi750 mesh system. What is the point of having a mesh if devices continue to connect to the router? Based on my research the only way to force devices to connect to the satellite that's is closer to then is by reducing 2.4 signal to 25%, effectively undoing what the mesh promises to offer! Really disappointed.

Its not the router/satellite that moves devices from router to satellite. Its the device (phone/tablet/etc) itself. Each device has their own roaming protocol that tells them when to switch from access point to access point. If turning down the broadcast power is causing the switch, maybe the router/satellite is to close together. How far apart is the router from the satellite?

I think I will return the satellite and just keep the router, since everything is connecting to the router anyway.30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
