Disappointing Wifi Speeds with Orbi RBR850 (AX6000 with one satellite)
I spent a few days setting up my new Orbi AX6000 system, I am wondering if there are any tricks to speeding up the wifi speeds? When I have a wired connection to the orbi router, I get 500 mbs download speed. When I connect via Wifi (5ghz, only a few feet away) the speed decreases to 200 mbs, a 60% reduction. Is that to be expected? Any tricks to improving? I tried the following:
* disabled other 5g networks in the area - the channels now are pretty clear
* tried channels 36, 40, 44, 48 - no performance change
* Turned off 20mhz,40mhz coexistence - no performance change

Try the steps in the community faq: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi-AX/Community-FAQ-My-Orbi-speeds-are-slow-inconsistent-and-don-t-my/m-p/1984305/highlight/true#M7944. Wireless speeds are dependent on your wireless type and environmental conditions, much less than wired speeds.
