Does the Orbi RBR760 router support DHCP option 60?
Hi all,
I am looking to replace my ISP-supplied router with an Orbi mesh system and I've tried looking everywhere for info on this but have turned up nothing but dead ends (this includes their user manual). The system the ISP sent has a modem separate from the router. My ISP requires DHCP option 60 (vendor class identifier) and on Netgear's support page on this it lists many of their products but not specifically the RBR760. The page was last updated a while ago and doesn't include any of their newer models. So either they removed this option or didn't update their support page.
Basically I would like to know if this is possible before I splash out on a mesh system?
Thank you for for your help!

We saw inclusion of this feature in earlier versions of the 750 and 850 series systems:
I can only presume this should have been included in the 760 series. I don't have the 760 so I can't tell for sure.

Even if the Orbi does not support this specific DHCP option thing, I guess you can set your Orbi to Access Point mode and still use your current modem and router. The Orbi would provide mesh wireless coverage but still rely upon your vendor's router for DHCP and routing.

Hello jbg4noves,
Welcome to the NETGEAR Community!
Thank you for your post!
I understand that you would like to use the RBR760 for your wireless solution with your ISP. The RBR760 is not compatible with DHCP 60/61.
The following Orbi AX devices are compatible with DHCP 60/61:
- RBR750
- RBR850
- RBR350
- RBRE950
- RBRE960
Below are links to additional information for the Orbi AX routers listed above:
