ERROR: NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID

ROUTER:

quantity: 1 router / 4 satellites (3 hardwired / 1 wireless)

model: RBRE960

Firmware Version V7.2.6.31_5.0.24 (every unit is updated to the latest)

MODEM:
Nighthawk 2.5Gbps Cable Modem (CM2000)

MY PROBLEM:
once a week or bi-weekly the internet will go. every website I try to go on (laptop or phone) will show: ERROR: NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID (see screenshot).

MY CURRENT SOLVE:
I fix it by turning off/on the electrical closet. 95% of the time it fixes itself.. if not, I have to turn it off/on again. This is not ideal if its in the middle of the night, or if Im not home (but my partner is at home), etc.

ERROR TEXT HERE: (so others can also find it in their searches)

NET: ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID

www.google.com normally uses encryption to protect your information. When Chrome tried to connect to www.google.com this time, the website sent back unusual and incorrect credentials. This may happen when an attacker is trying to pretend to be www.google.com, or a Wi-Fi sign-in screen has interrupted the connection. Your information is still secure because Chrome stopped the connection before any data was exchanged. You cannot visit www.google.com right now because the website uses HSTS. Network errors and attacks are usually temporary, so this page will probably work later.
