Ethernet connected sattelite out of sync

Question

Hi. Orbi 850 with two satellite system. One satellite (used to be two) is connected via ethernet and reports "Out of sync". If I disconnect it from ethernet and sync it up wirelessly by brining it close to the router it's all good. As soon as I take it back to the other room and plug it in to the ethernet I get the "out of sync" message.

Reading other posts it seems that the recommended way is to disconnect from ethernet, power it off, power it up, wait for it to sync wirelessly then connect the ethernet cables. However because of the distance it doesn't want to sync wirelessly.

Thoughts?

I'd get a short 6ft known good cable and hardwire it in close to the router to see if its a cable issue.&nbsp;
