Ethernet connections
My computer is connected to the Orbi base by an Ethernet cable on port 1. My printer is connected to port 2. About a year ago it began taking about 30 seconds for the Internet connection to complete after the computer boots or wakes from sleep.
Could the router have anything to do with this?
Thank you.
Doubtful.
Something with your PC, OS, network configuration, ethernet adapter needs to be looked at.
Be sure any ethernet and wireless adapter drivers are updated from the chipset mfr.
Make contact with the PC Mfr as well for help and information regarding there product.

Thanks. The mobo and cpu are new and this problem existed with my old hardware. I just wanted to rule out the router before laying this on my ISP. It's not software as I experienced the delay when installing Windows on a new, unformatted drive.
K, Ya old hardware, could be anything then.
Good Luck.
