Fire TV 4K not connecting to 5 ghz
i have 6 Amazon Fire TV 4k sticks hooked up streaming Youtube TV. 4 of the sticks are connected to 5 GHZ channel 48. 2 are connected to 2.4 ghz channel 4. i would really like to get them all on the 5...
the distance between router and the 2 wireless satellites is ~45-50 feet. the distance between router and the wired(Cat 6) eithernet cable Satellite is 150-200 feet. Can you please explain what turning the power output on the RBR wifi radios from 100% to 25% will do. it seems to me that will diminish the coverage of wifi throughout the house, but i am illiterate on a lot of this so thanks.
WIll see if the one still will connect to the RBS rather then the RBR. Just a quick test to see if the stick changes behavior. You can put it back after testing.
The distance maybe to far for the one stick to connect at 5Ghz so it's falling back to 2.4Ghz which has a better coverage than 5ghz at greater distances.
