Firestick loses connection to router
I have a frustrating issue with my Firestick 4k. My system is an RBR750 router with 2 RBS750 satellites connected wirelessly in daisy chain (it's a long house). The Firestick is literally 4 feet...

The Firestick is literally 4 feet from the router with no interference. Periodically, the Firestick will switch its connection away from the router and connect to the closest satellite. This satellite, however, is probably 50 feet away and through multiple walls. I only notice that this has happened b/c the Firestick starts buffering and loading streaming content very slowly. The only solution is to make the Firestick forget the wifi connection and then reconnect - it chooses the router and things are fine for a while.
Therefore, if you are experiencing constant loss of connection, your old Amazon Fire Stick or Wi-Fi router could be the issue. Upgrading to the latest Fire Stick model can help fix the problem permanently. You should also consider upgrading your router if it is showing any of these issues.
