Fixed IP Addresses On Guest Network
I use the Guest Network for IoT devices. Is there a way to have consistent/fixed IP addresses on the Guest Network? It appears the Address Reservation capability in the router is only for the pr...

It appears it's working. I'm stunned.
I set the DHCP address range to end at 192.168.1.200. I have set a couple of Guest Network clients to be fixed IPs above that 200 range (e.g. 192.168.2.220).
The router is letting them connect with those above-the-DHCP-range fixed IPs and I can talk with them normally.
This has been working a grand total of about 15 minutes. LOL. Hopefully it stays that way.

Haselmaier, Is this still working for you? I am trying to do the same thing. I also set the end range to a lower number, but Orbi keeps setting the guest network IPs on 10.0.. range. I even went into LAN Setup and tried to manually set the IP based on MAC. I hoped a reboot would swap the IPs out but no luck. If you changed other settings please share.
Ultimately, I would like to setup port forwarding to the address. This was allowed in my old Orbi but it died last week. Trying to get this new one setup like the old one.
Thanks

Yes - it has continued to work for me. But.......I'm very perplexed. One of the fixed-IP devices is an IP Bullet Camera. In the camera's config I've set the IP (192.168.2.2xx - because that's the guest network and I've put the top end of the DHCP range at 192.168.2.200). I can successfully ping using the fixed IP specified in the camera. BUT....when I log into the router, in the Attached Devices page, that device is reported has having an IP address that is in the DHCP range...as if the camera asked for a DHCP address. What's yet even more odd: I can't ping the device using the IP address as it is listed in the Attached Devices page.
So, actual behavior is what I want and need. But what I can do in real life doesn't match with what the Attached Devices page is reporting.
I'm 99% sure I only changed the DHCP range. I don't think I changed anything else.
