flashing white light on orbi RBR750 despite everything

Tried it all. Rebooting with paper clip. Yes it flashed yellow then back to white. Tried using the app to reinstall. Nothing. It doesn't find the satellite. Tried support. They promised a call back. NEVER HAPPENED. so think I may have to return it. Any help would be most appreciated.

  • So with the RBR disconnected from the ISP modem/ONT, press the reset button for 15 seconds then release. Have 1 wired PC connected to the back of the RBR only, nothing else.

Can you access the RBRs web page at 192.168.1.1 after the front LED starts to pulsate WHITE?
Does the front LED BLINK only WHITE or does it eventually pulsate WHITE?

Thank you for your very kind help. Im on a Mac book pro no ethernet connection. I have an adaptor but its only usb. In any case its worth noting. The RBR does communicate perfectly to 2 other RBS satellites. The Problematic RBS does flash then pulsate then flashes again then returns to pulsating. I can not connect wirelessly to 192.168.1.1 Pressing the reset button for 15 seconds has no effect. if I press the reset button for 40 seconds it will flash yellow for about 5 seconds then resume pulsating white. If I trey to set up the RBS as a new one the app does not see it. Even if I have the RBS connected via ethernet to the RBR. I also do not see it when logged in on my computer to orbilogin.com

      I thank you again

The only guess I can make is that you have another DHCP source that is giving the satellite an address before the Orbi router does.

What is the model of the ISP Modem/Router to which Orbi Router is connected? Do you have any other device in the network that can act as a DHCP provider (like wifi repeaters, and similar devices....)?
