For those stuck in a reset Password loop here is the fix

People have reported that every time they login to the Orbi router software instead of getting the normal Orbit dashboard they get a reset password page.  Many responders have repeatedly responded that the cure is to reset, clear cache, etc.  This is wrong. This only happens to people using the default user name as "admin".   Here is the fix. login with a LOWER CASE "a" in admin and then the password.  It will work every time.  However if you login with an UPPERCASE "A" in Admin you'll get the password reset page.  Netgear should look into this and push a fix in the firmware.

  • FYI the default configuration for the log in has always been lower case "a"  for "admin". Please use lower case 'a' for admin.
