Have they ever fixed the RBR 750 AP-Mode yet?
I've wondered if Netgear ever will fix the issue with the RBR 750 AP-Mode not working since firmware version 4 to current. I see several posts about it but no solution that doesn't involve downgradin...

What is exactly the problem your having with your 7 series in AP mode?
I've tested my 7, 8 and 9 series all in AP mode over the past year and have not see any issues of Orbi AX systems having problems in AP mode. Not a lot of posts recently regarding AP mode as well from others.
Please give details on what your having problems with and lets see if we can figure out what the deal is with yours.

When I switch to AP mode I lose all wireless every 30-50 seconds...it comes back on but same thing over and over. Satellites won't sync. Switch to router mode and everything is fine.
I'm a IT professional by trade and this double-nat'ing aggravates my ocd.
I've been running an RBR50 for years with no problems. Upgraded and it's been a headache.
I've DHCP...Static...check the logs and nothing. No indication of what's going wrong.
I'm using a Hitron (Spectrum) E31U2V1 DOCSIS 3.1 eMTA Internet Cable Modem and a Palo Alto Networks PA-220 Firewall.

How do you have it setup?
In ap mode are the satellites hardwired in?
Are they using the wired backhaul?
I've frequently seen users stick their Orbi in AP mode and then connect it in using a lan port and not the wan port.

I'd like to user wireless backhaul. Kinda worthless to own an Orbi if I have to start running cat-6 thoughout the house. There are other solutions a whole lot cheaper.
I found that if I moved the port on my RBR 750 from the "internet" port to one of the standard lan ports it works just fine as a AP without constantly dropping wireless. Problem is it seems to lose the ability to connect to the RBS 750. It works when I plug the RBS 750 directly into my main switch, but what is the point of that?
My main issue is my RBR50 and my RBS50 worked just fine in this manner. Not exactly happy with my upgrade this far.

You don't have to use a wired backhaul.
its just something we ask because I've seen some switches cause issues with the backhaul.
If you're using wireless, thats fine. Again, just clarification.
When you get i ssues, what actually happens? Do devices say "connected, no internet"? Do devices not connect at all but can see the wireless broadcasting? Are they unable to see the wireless at all?
Again, I've got that same model and its working fine in AP mode.
