What Orbi model system do you have?
What FW is loaded on it?
If you configure bridge mode on the ISP gateway, then the Orbi system needs to be configured for router mode, not AP mode.
Regarding ISP gateways, If your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, Keep the modem in router mode, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem, keeping the modem in router mode and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop
Try option #2 first...

Sorry i was mistaken the Orbi was put into router mode.
The firm ware on the Orbi was updated today to the current
Model Name Device Name Current Firmware Version Status
Router | RBR850 | RBR850 | V4.6.14.3 | No New Firmware Available |
Satellite | RBS850 | Orbi Satellite-1 | V4.6.14.3 |
Does the order matter when changing the setting on the Gateway and Orbi. I changed the Orbi to router then changed the gateway to bridge?
Your # 2 option scares me I'm not that technical sorry : (

Ok. there is newer FW however lets skip that for now.
As long as the Orbi system is in router mode, you can change the gateway to bridge mode. Follow ISP instructions for that. A power cycle of the RBR off for 30 seconds then back ON while the gateway processes the change maybe in order as well. Should be able to log in to the RBRs web page and check Internet status. I'd give it about 3-4 minutes. Front LED will blink WHITE, then maybe PINK, then turn OFF indicating a good connection to the internet.

I truly appreciate your help and please let me know if the sequence matters that may have been a problem.
I am not sure how to disable the Wi-Fi radios and where to configure the modem's DMZ for the IP address.
I looked through both basic and advanced categories but did not find where I could modify.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, Keep the modem in router mode, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.

You'll need to ask or check in with the ISP support and have them help you with the modems WiFi Settings there. I presume there is a web page there what needs to be looked at and checked on if you want to try the modem in router mode and disable the wifi radios then use the DMZ for the Orbi router in router mode. However if you bridge the modem, this already disable all wifi radios and the router with in while in bridge mode.
