Usually if its purple/magenta, it can't connect to the internet.
What modem/gateway is it connected to?
When it turns magenta, are you still able to connect to the orbi and view its GUI?
What does it show under the internet connection?

I've had to constantly reset the router when it turns Magenta. It then works for a few hours, but then doesn't work again. I basically have to constant reset the ORBI Router. definitely something with the router and not my modem or internet which is working fine.

Which didn't answer a single question I asked and specifically avoided them.
Troubleshooting isn't a "click this and its fixed". Its figuring out a users setup to see what could potentially be causing the issue. I've got a 750 series running on spectrum and its been rock solid in its stock setup. But we know nothing about your setup

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Smart Parental Controls or Circle, Traffic Meter and IPv6.Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update? A complete pull of the power adapters for a period of time after the factory reset then walk thru the setup wizard and setup from scratch with a wired PC and web browser. https://kb.netgear.com/22697/How-do-I-install-my-NETGEAR-router-using-the-router-web-interface
Recommend setting the default DHCP IP address pool range to the following after applying and a factory reset: 192.168.#.100 to 192.168.#.200.

I would power OFF the ISP modem for 1 minute. Factory reset the router and power it off. Power ON the ISP modem and let it sync. Then power ON the router and walk thru the setup wizard again using a wired PC and a web browser.
Press the back reset button for 15 seconds then release.- Pkkz124May 13, 2024Aspirant
thanks for this suggestion.
I updated to the latest firmware manually yesterday (version 7x) on both the router and satellite and that did not fix the problem.
I'm connected to a Metronet modem (has been on this SAME set up for 2-3+ years without a problem until now) that seems to be working properly. And its strange everytime i reboot the router, it works fine for a few hours and then 'goes out again'.I am going to try the factory reset later today when i'm home and see if that works.
appreciate the help. I am really not a IT person at all, so its all new to me.
