HELP with Orbi Mesh WiFi System

I always seem to see people having issues with the virgin hubs. 

What many do is leave the virgin hub in router mode, disable its wifi, and then put the netgears IP address into the virgin hub's DMZ. 

If that doesn't work, you could simple leave the virgin hub in router mode, disable its wifi, and put the netgear in access point mode. 

Sadly, you do lose some features on the netgear if you do that.

    Thank you. So connection wise/wires what does that look like? Between the Virgin HUB and the Orbi router.

      simply from the virgin's lan port to the orbi's wan port.

        So does the ethernet cable from Virgin go into Orbi or do you keep the virgin connection and then connect via ethernet between the two?
