how to configure Orbi Router RBR850 to advertise 2.4g as a separate SSID

Trying to configure my Orbi Router RBR850 so it advertises 2.5G and 5G as separate channels. Or temporarily have the ability to disabled 5G in order to configure some 2.4G devices.

    Something that is not supported on Orbi systems. 

     

    So you might want to turn OFF all RBS, then change the power output of the 5Ghz radio to 25% on the RBR. Then connect your mobile device at a distance from the RBR to ensure the mobile phone keeps connected to the 2.4Ghz radio. After you get the IoT device connected, re-configure the system back to where it was.
