How to connect items to nearest device

I have a RBR750 with satellite. My Router is upstairs and my satellite downstairs on the opposite side of my house. I have items closest to the satellite that are connected to the router and vice versa. How do you get items closest to either the router or satellite to connect to that particular item?

    What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
    What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

     

    Iit's up to devices to pick and choose there they connect too. You can help some by turning down the power output of the RBRs wifi radios from 100% to 50% and see if this changes anything. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
