How to factory reset satellite of RBK
Hello all, So what is the correct procedure to factory reset a satellite belonging to an RBK pack by itself (RBK850 in this case)? That is without performing a factory reset of the RBR and (poss...

Turn I would try turning OFF the RBS. Then go to the RBRs web page and select "Remove" from the page so the RBS doesn't reconnect there. Then turn ON the RBS wait for the WHITE front LED to blink. Press the reset button for 15 seconds then release.

Yes, performing the erase from the web GUI does indeed reset all the kit devices to factory defaults and the kit units are ready to go for the system setup. That much is clear.
I have wondered whether the kit satellites have the pre-configured system settings already set in their permanent nvram storage or whether they auto-sync on boot ... this dicussion makes me think they do auto-sync ... interesting.
I guess time will tell and hopefully resetting during early boot (once the white light has been flashing for a little bit) will be ok, ;)

Well I believe they may auto re-sync, prior to a reset of the entire system.
One thing that I've noticed since early Orbi AX, is that if I change the SSID name on the RBR, after the RBS have been turned OFF from using the prior SSID name, after I make the change on the RBR and turn ON the RBS, they seem to auto sync to the new SSID.
