how to make sure RBS 750 satellite connected to RBR750 , serve some devices.
In the orbi App, network map i see 1 RBR750 and Two satelites RBS750 connected. However, only one satellite is showing some devices connected and the other device is just sitting there, no devices...
Some Findings:
1. Check for firmware update DOES NOT identify available Firmware updates
2. Downloaded the firmwares ( RBS & RBR, and applied them in that sequence)
Now i have the following firmware version: V4.6.3.7_2.0.49
I was able to see devices getting added to 3 edge points ( RBR and RBS )
New Question:
As we move around the home, how come the celll phone continued to stay connected to the initial satellite that it establsihed the connecton.
Is there an option to follow the sattellte as you move around as opposed to getting stuck to one satellite, even though you may have one RBS that may be more closer to you
It's up to devices to pick and choose where they connect too and roam, if they support roaming. Something to ask the mfr of this device about.
