My new and old router as well as the Satellites are Orbi RBK50. RBS50 for the sat and RBR50 for the router.
I ended up getting them all to Sync. I suspect this is the "config Sync" error that a lot of people get. I got around it by doing hard resets on the satellites, and removing the satellites from the web screen of the router. Then adding back. Note: sometimes I had to do this 2 or 3 times, as the router rememvers the MAC ID even if I've deleted the satellite. Next time it will be easier to hard reset the router and all the satellities, then add back in.
I like the Orbi and had great luck with it, but this "config sync" issue is a pain.

What usually works is wireleslly connecting RBS one at a time to the RBR. Giving some time to the RBR and RBS to settle in. Usually about 5 minutes works.
Also be sure the RBS and RBR are all on same version of FW.
Daisy Chain can be disabled as well during setup if your not using Diasy Chain configuration with the RBS.
