The orbi won't do 500ft. Neither will ethernet. Ethernet maxes out at just over 300ft. Unless you have a switch or something in there to pick up the signal and rebroadcast.
For that range, your best bet is a point to point system.
And then you go over having an LTE hotspot but wanting a CAX80.
Do you have cable from an ISP?
Who's your isp?
this is all a bit disjointed.

My isp is Comcast. Yes, I do have powered switches every 100ft. I do not need LTE. since my cell service is very poor, I use wifi calling on my iphone and it has worked just fine for several years. I want to make sure that I get consistent wifi signal. I've had the CAX80 for 10 months and it has excellent wifi coverage, but I need the wifi coverage expanded in every corner of my house so I don't loose signal in certain areas. I need to know how to configure CAX80 to work with Orbi in my house. Since CAX80 is a router modem combo, I am wondering if the CAX80 is better router than the Orbi router. Which should I use as the main router and which should I enable AP mode. Most devices on my property are ethernet connected and they function fine, but I am trying to get a good and reliable wifi coverage throughout, for all my wify devices like ipads, iphones and wireless laptops. Any suggestions?

For your size of home only, 4000sq ft should only need the CAX80 and maybe one or two extenders. When I had my CAX80 running in router mode with wifi, I used two EX7700s to help cover my 5000sq ft home. No problems.
I also have an Orbi 8 series and works well with the CAX80 in router mode or in modem only mode. I use the CAX80 mostly in modem only mode and when I use the Orbi 8 series, its in router mode, however also works in AP mode as well. RBR and two RBS.

Thank you for you response. My house design is very spread out and all walls are sound insulated, so the wifi signal has issues in several areas. If I keep the CAX80 in router mode, how far away should I place the Orbi AX6000 router. Also, should I enable AP mode in the Orbi router?

If you keep the CAX in router mode, use AP mode on the Orbi system.
You'll need to figure out what works best for the Orbi system and RBS placement. Building materials can effect singal between the RBR and RBS.
