My Printer is an HP9010 All in one. Apparently, it ONLY supports 2.4GHZ. It prints but will not scan. I used to use the printer settings on my MAC but then switched to HP SMART. Now HP SMART says it is off line, but status shows its IP address and it is clearly NOT offline. It prints fine, but will not scan. That is my problem. Can't get it on the 2.4GHZ band. Thank you!

Wireless 802.11b/g/n doesn't only mean 2.4Ghz. Wireless 802.11b/g/n< N mode supports both 2.4 and 5Ghz frequencies.
Though the specs doesn't specify this detail. I see your printer also support ethernet as well. Can you connect the printer via ethernet to the router and see if you can get it connected.
If the printer is dual band supporting and most newer generation printers do, then it may prefer 5Ghz over 2.4Ghz. Something to ask HP about.
