- The app I am using is https://www.netspotapp.com/
- The survey is done with a laptop from the 1st floor.
- Outside the front door ( I will try to do it later)
- The router is down next to the main door, and the 1st satellite is maxed 5 meters away at the stairs on 1 st floor.
- disabling 802.11AX is enabled on IOT
The picture shows AX enabled on both 2.4G and 5G radios. When searching about Nest cameras, I came across discussions suggesting that Nest cameras "do better" when AX is not enabled on 2.4G (My only Nest is an ancient "version 1" thermostat. No cameras.)
On a vacation trip some time ago, I was surprised to learn that "1st floor" means different things in the US and Europe. (Booked a "1st floor" room assuming that meant no stairs to carry suitcases up. Oh, my.) Was asking about the distance between the front door router and the satellite that is clear across the floor next to the garden doors.
Does NetSpot have an option to restrict which SSIDs it displays? (one of the features I like about WiFi Info View by Nirsoft)

😀 the Router and the satellite in the living room are max 10 meters, but I am planning to connect it with a LAN cable like the satellite on the 1st floor.
So after turning off the 2 AP's at 22:30 I see a lot of disconnects at my cameras again 😞 Same issue!
Let me disconnect the AX at 2.4Ghz and test like that.
Thanks,
